One of the most treasured rock garden plants. Forming low, fleshy rosettes of tough evergreen leaves, bearing large, yellow star-shaped flowers in late spring and early summer, repeat flowering in the autumn. Height 20cm. Spread 30cm. Tolerates heat and drought well, also happy in cooler temperatures. Full sun and free-draining, gritty soil. Hardy, protect from winter wet.
