Houseleek, Hens and Chicks. Sempervivum means ‘Always Alive’ as they are evergreen and tolerate extreme temperatures and drought. Best grown in a sunny position, in well-drained soil with added grit. Ideal in containers as they thrive in very little compost. Full sun. Hardy.
