Proctors Production Site

(Endon, Staffordshire)

With the business growing Proctor’s purchased some land in Endon, Staffordshire Moorlands, not far from the Peak District in 2004. This would become Proctors Nursery Production Site. With a great deal more space, this allowed us to increase the production rate to keep up with the amount being sold at the Nursery. Purpose built potting shed was constructed as well as multiple temperature controlled polytunnels with automatic irrigation to give the plants the optimum growing environment.

In 2006 further land was purchased and we increased the size to around 14 acres, with more polytunnels and outside planting areas, every square metre of the site is used for one production need or another.

In 2020 amidst the coronavirus pandemic, we increased our online presence and started selling orders online, the sheer volume of orders led to a distribution centre being built to house packaging and an area for staff to clean, bag and pack the plants before they get delivered direct to your door.
