Globe Thistle. A clump-forming perennial with grey-woolly stems and grey-green leaves. Produces attractive, globe-shaped dark blue flowerheads. Height 1m. Spread 60cm. Flowers July to August. Full sun. Hardy.

I have bought a large number of plants so this comment covers all of them. The packaging was excellent which kept all the plants in great condition when they arrived. The plants were well-grown and still damp. They are not big enough to put into my heavily planted boarders so will be put in a nursery bed until big enough to cope. There is no reason why they should not do well. Very pleased with my purchase and told other people about the nursery.

Already has some healthy looking leaves and it’s January. I am so so imperssed by Proctors. They are my go-to nursery now, plants are alwasy strong and healthy, arrive packaged well. If you live close to Proctors you are so lucky. It’s miles better than any garden ceentre I’ve even been to.
