Lupin. A clump-forming perennial with attractive foliage and strong spires of purple flowers with claret and yellow standards. Height 75cm. Spread 50cm. Flowers June to July. Full sun/partial shade. Hardy.

The box had been damaged & it looked as if someone had attempted to open it as one of the flaps had been opened at the bottom of the box. Also there was a lot of soil spilt & several leaves damaged. However I think this was all due to the delivery company & the person who delivered the orders neglect, indifference & seeming inability to read that the contents were fragile & contained plants, as this is the first time that I’ve had a delivery from Proctors that has been less than perfect. The Lupin was salvageable, thank goodness, once the damaged leaves were removed so it could have been worse.
