A clump forming perennial. In spring large flat crinkled grey leaves emerge completely whitened from soft silky down. This gradually disappears as stems of white hooded flowers appear in midsummer. Height 90cm. Spread 60cm. Flowers from July to September. Full sun. Light, well drained soil. Hardy.
