Rudbeckia x Echinacea cross. A stunning new hybrid Rudbeckia. Large, velvety, long lasting blooms open from midsummer. Bright orange-yellow flowers with a dark copper orange eye. Height 60cm. Spread 45cm. Flowers June to October. Full sun/partial shade. Hardy. Attracts bees and butterflies.
I first came across Proctors at the Harrogate Spring Show. The quality of their plants,both those bought at shows and on line, are second to none. These are not tiny cuttings in a pot sold as a 3 ltr plant. These are well grown large plants with excellent root systems. Their dahlias are a really good size when sent out. I have used a number of suppliers over the years and the quality of some has reduced over the years perhaps because they got too large. Proctors will be my first port of call in future for a wide range of plants
