Description

Echinacea x hybrida ‘Cheyenne Spirit’ is a stunning hybrid coneflower featuring quilled petals in vivid shades of orange, red, rosy-red, yellow, purple, and cream around a prominent brown cone. Growing up to 80cm tall, this perennial adds spectacular colour from midsummer to autumn while attracting bees and butterflies.

PLANTING and AFTERCARE GUIDE
Best Planting Time
  • Spring: Plant Echinacea x hybrida ‘Cheyenne Spirit’ when the soil starts to warm. This allows the roots to establish before the main flowering season.

    The Echinacea Cheyenne Spirit was delivered the day after I ordered it, in perfect condition, wrapped perfectly so that even a lone leaf hadn’t dropped off, and with several flower buds almost ready to flower. I haven’t yet been able to plant it but hope to do so tomorrow. After all the rain we’ve had over the weekend the soil should be perfect for planting. I’ve been very impressed with Proctors over the past two summers. They are by far the best plant nursery I’ve ever ordered from.
