A hybrid Coneflower. The petals are narrow, rolled or quilled in vivid shades of orange, red, rosy-red, yellow, purple and cream, surrounding a large brown cone. Spectacular display from midsummer to autumn. Height and spread 80cm. Full sun, well-drained soil. Attracts bees and butterflies. Hardy.

The Echinacea Cheyenne Spirit was delivered the day after I ordered it, in perfect condition, wrapped perfectly so that even a lone leaf hadn’t dropped off, and with several flower buds almost ready to flower. I haven’t yet been able to plant it but hope to do so tomorrow. After all the rain we’ve had over the weekend the soil should be perfect for planting. I’ve been very impressed with Proctors over the past two summers. They are by far the best plant nursery I’ve ever ordered from. I’m particularly impressed with the excellent way they pack everything so that the plants I’ve ordered so far from them (and there have been dozens) arrive in perfect condition. I highly recommend them for their healthy, beautifully grown plants that are delivered in perfect condition.
