A compact, deciduous perennial with round globes of flowers which are a lovely dark ink blue colour when in bud, opening up to a deep blue and white from midsummer to autumn. Height 45cm. Full sun. Moist, well drained soil. Benefits from an autumn mulch to protect the crown.
