A highly attractive variety of Bugle. The violet blue flower-spikes appear from late spring against a dense matt of glossy, liquorice-black foliage. This dark leaved perennial is more sun tolerant than many cultivars, with the foliage becoming blacker when grown in full sun. A superb groundcover plant. Height 15cm. Spread 60cm. Sun/part shade. Hardy.
