Stonecrop. A mat-forming alpine with rosettes of silver-grey leaves, richly suffused reddish purple. Clusters of star-shaped, bright yellow flowers in summer. Height 10cm. Spread 60cm. Flowers June to August. Full sun, well-drained soil. Hardy.
