A rounded tree with dark green leaves and huge, deep rose pink or white goblet shaped flowers appear before the leaves in April. Height and spread 6m. Flowers from April to May. Full sun/partial shade. Hardy. Thrives in a sheltered position, in fertile, well drained soil that is slightly acidic.
