A clump-forming perennial with grey-green leaves. Large, intense lilac-blue flowerheads with silvery centres are held on long, strong stems. Flowers from mid to late summer. Height and Spread 60cm. Full sun, well-drained soil. Hardy. Attracts bees and butterflies.

I have bought a large number of plants so this comment covers all of them. The packaging was excellent which kept all the plants in great condition when they arrived. The plants were well-grown and still damp. They are not big enough to put into my heavily planted boarders so will be put in a nursery bed until big enough to cope. There is no reason why they should not do well. Very pleased with my purchase and told other people about the nursery.

I’m really impressed by Proctor’s service. I ordered two scabious plants on the Wednesday before Easter, and they were delivered next day though I hadn’t asked or paid for express delivery. They’re very good sturdy plants, well-rooted, and packed very carefully. Highly recommended.
