Bee balm. A very compact perennial with purple-pink flowers. Clump forming stems of aromatic foliage topped with fountain-like heads of hooded flowers. Height 40cm. Flowers July to September. Full sun/dappled shade. Moist, well-drained soil. Hardy. Attracts bees and butterflies.
